It is necessary to ensure combustion optimization to minimize pollution and help support global sustainable development and CCA is a single source provider of air pollution control technologies. CCA is a global provider of combustion control technologies to reduce NOx, particulate matter [PM], unburned carbon and CO emissions at various types of combustion facilities including utility power plants, paper & pulp mills, chemical plants, oil refineries, ethanol plants, marine vessels, and diesel engines. CCA specializes in supplying in-furnace and post-combustion emission control technologies. CCA's technologies have been installed in over 100 steam generators worldwide also have been installed on thermal oxidizers and dryers.CCA also offers a urea-based SCR technology TRIM-NOx, that reduces NOx emissions from Stationary Internal Combustion Engines by over 90%.
Combustion optimization is vital as combustion problems are often caused by poor air-flow distribution and improper balancing of fuel flow from the burners. With any airflow balancing concern, diagnosis is key. CCA's Air Distribution Analysis is a fast and accurate tool for analyzing and diagnosing burner airflow. Airflow Balancing improves unit heat and reduces NOx. CCA's Air Distribution Analysis & Balancing technique uses actual data taken from burners, rather than information inferred from downstream data or drawn from simulated conditions. Results identify airflow differences between burners, differences within the burner itself and the precise nature and location of any inefficient windbox air distribution. It makes uses of massive data sets from over 2,400 readings per burner with data collected inside burner throats at critical fuel/air interface. This approach results in highly accurate results within hours, measured airflow at critical fuel-air mixing interface in each burner, minimal CO emissions, precise determination of where windbox or ducting airflow distribution problems originate, improvement of Unit Heat Rate and reduction of NOx emissions.
CCA, founded in 1980, is a renowned engineering, design and manufacturing firm.CCA has been an industry leader in the design, development, testing and manufacture of high efficiency, low emission combustion systems for industrial and utility boilers. CCA specializes in combustion engineering and aerothermodynamic solutions primarily directed to fossil fuel fired utility and large industrial applications. CCA's vast experience, proprietary technologies and over 300 staff years of combined combustion engineering expertise positions the company as a leader in combustion optimization and the pollution control business in general.
CCA is 100% owner of Holmes Tool & Engineering, Inc., a machine shop fabricator in Florida. Its manufacturing facility of 20,000 sq.ft is equipped with the latest in high-speed precision CNC turning and milling centers and has a full complement of bending, forming, cutting, shearing and welding equipment.
CCA has performed effective work and projects in combustion optimization for an impressive 250+ clients who are also the leaders in their industries. Some of these satisfied customers include: ALCOA, Consolidated Edison, Cornell University, ExxonMobil, Eveready Batteries, General Electric, Gulf & Western, Harvard University, Kimberly Clark, Southern California Edison and Uniroyal Chemical.
CCA's offices are located in Monroe, Connecticut with tel. no. 203-268-3139 and fax no. 203-261-7697. For more information on CCA's combustion optimization products and services email CCA at mail@cca-inc.net or visit the website: cca-inc.
